# Jsonify Benchmark

Benchmark is Jsonify's product for simulating form-driven pricing journeys that cannot be observed on static pages. It navigates competitor quote flows across personas, locations, and conditions — extracting real pricing, package structures, bundling, and offer tiers.

Benchmark fills forms and simulates the market. It does not monitor static pages — that is what [Radar](https://jsonify.com/products/radar) does.

## Why Benchmark exists

Insurance premiums, loan rates, utility tariffs, and ISP plans are not published on static pages. They are generated dynamically and revealed only at the end of a quote flow. Radar cannot read them. Only Benchmark can extract them.

## What Benchmark simulates

- **Insurance quote flows**: home, car, life, and health insurance journeys across carriers and markets. Captures premium, excess, and bundling structures.
- **ISP and broadband plans**: broadband pricing by address, bundle configuration, and contract length across providers.
- **Car rental pricing**: rental pricing across brands, durations, locations, and seasons. Captures add-ons, extras, and insurance upsells.
- **Utility and energy tariffs**: electricity, gas, and water tariffs across providers by region, consumption, and contract type.
- **Financial products**: loan rates, mortgage offers, and credit products across lenders by persona and market conditions.

## What Benchmark produces

- Persona pricing tables (monthly premium, annual cost, excess levels per carrier)
- Offer structure breakdowns (base premium, add-ons, tax)
- Cross-carrier comparison datasets
- Structured exports to Excel, BI tools, or data pipelines

## Example deployments

- **European insurance benchmark**: 8 countries, 40+ carriers, 200 personas — home and auto, seasonal snapshots
- **Automotive rental benchmark**: 6 markets, 9 brands, 7 durations — 19 city locations, 3 seasonal snapshots

## How Benchmark works

1. Define the customer personas, markets, and competitors to simulate
2. Data agents navigate competitor forms exactly as a customer would — filling fields, selecting options, completing journeys
3. Pricing datasets, persona benchmarks, and offer comparisons are delivered to your team

## Industries that use Benchmark

- **Insurance**: premiums, excess levels, and bundle structures across carriers, markets, and persona types
- **ISP & Utilities**: broadband and energy pricing by address, bundle, and contract
- **Car Rental**: rental pricing across brands, locations, durations, and seasonal windows
- **Financial Services**: loan rates, mortgage offers, and credit products across lenders

## Radar vs Benchmark

Radar continuously monitors what is already visible on the public web. Benchmark simulates form-driven pricing journeys that are not visible on static pages. Most teams use one or both depending on their market.
