When Jsonify fits

Your team wants to define the dataset and its checks, with the extraction workflow built and maintained around that brief.

What to compare in an evaluation

Bright Data is more than proxies: its Web Scraper API returns structured records and its portfolio includes datasets and managed offerings. Evaluate the exact product and contract. Infrastructure providers can support a data platform underneath; that is not a claim that Jsonify uses a particular supplier.

Bright Data: product details

Look at the run after the source changes.

A retailer moves its price field. Jason diagnoses the failed step, repairs the code and checks a sample before activating a new revision.

Look for the revision, the verification result and the next published run. Repairs that cannot be verified need further investigation.

  • You fix the parser when a site changes

Starting price: 5,000 free records / month · Web Scraper API

Assumptions and sources

  • Public product pages, no login.
  • Starts from known product URLs; finding them isn’t included.
  • 1,000 product–retailer records per refresh, so rows a month = 1,000 × refreshes.
  • Cheapest suitable plan on monthly billing, including required usage and add-ons.
  • Web Unlocker at one request per product page. For pages that need a full browser, Scraping Browser is $8 per GB, so the cost depends on page weight.
  • Bright Data’s 5,000 free requests a month cover the lowest two refresh rates; we don’t deduct them above that.

Your time (our estimate). Our estimate, from what each tool’s own documentation asks you to do. Setup covers getting the first scheduled run delivering; upkeep assumes about one layout change per site each quarter.

Jsonify: Write the brief, attach the URL list and review Jason’s sample. Jason repairs breakages; you read the repair notes.

Bright Data: You write the parser, scheduling and storage around Web Unlocker, and fix the parser when a site’s layout changes.
