About this dataset
Georgia county election board meeting actions, including motions and votes. Each row represents a motion or a meeting status record. Available fields include the county and board, meeting date, time and type, agenda item, motion text, proposer and seconder, outcome, vote tally, any member votes named in the source, members present, minutes status, and links to source materials where available.
What you can use it for
Follow county board decisions on certification, advance voting plans, polling places and voter eligibility challenges. Find motions that were not unanimous by filtering for votes against above zero, then review any named votes and quoted source wording. Build a timeline of board actions for a story, brief or filing, with links to source materials where available. Explore meeting actions across the counties represented in the published table.
Coverage
The published meeting_actions table contains 1,269 rows of meeting actions. The available summary does not verify county-level counts, the counties represented, or the dates covered. The Georgia State Election Board is not identified in the supplied table summary.

How Jsonify collected this data
Nobody wrote a scraper for this. Someone described the data they wanted, in a sentence, and Jason, Jsonify's AI data engineer, took it from there.
He found the sources, worked out which fields to pull, tested the steps on a sample and scheduled the runs. The thread on the right is that conversation, retold with this pipeline's real steps.
From then on the pipeline runs itself. When a site changes and a run fails its checks, Jason repairs the pipeline and verifies a sample before publishing again.

Version history
- v21
Corrects reading of faint stamp bleed-through on blank reverse pages so complete meeting records can finish updating. Unreadable meeting information still stops the update.
- v20
Scanned minutes now have a complete per-page visual reading fallback when the usual document reader cannot connect. Existing motion and vote checks remain in place.
- v19
Handles misread page numbers and reads longer scanned minutes in full, preserving motions and named votes across every page.
- v18
Verifies Forsyth canvassing minutes that omit the county name using the official board name, office address and named officers.
- v17
Keeps Forsyth motions intact across scanned page breaks while preserving named votes and source checks.
- v16
Reads scanned motions continuously across page breaks without treating generated page markers as source text.
- v15
Corrects scanned Chatham motions split by page footers or sidebar headings, while retaining exact-source and named-vote checks.
- v14
Corrects reading order for Chatham’s scanned minutes so sidebar labels no longer interrupt verified motion quotations.
- v13
Preserves brief official-summary approvals as notes when no formal motion or member vote is recorded, while retaining explicit motions.
- v12
Reads board-identifying headers in Word minutes so valid DeKalb records are retained without weakening source checks.
- v11
Process fewer meeting documents at once to reduce processing interruptions without reducing coverage.
- v10
Recognize corroborating primary-election wording in Cobb’s minutes while preserving source-date discrepancy notes.
- v9
Preserve corroborated source-date discrepancies and include the entire selected final day for Cobb meetings.
- v8
Recognize explicitly recorded votes described as “voted in opposition.”
- v7
Read merged voting-chart cells correctly while avoiding duplicate rows for grouped ballot decisions.
- v6
Handle both Gwinnett voting-chart layouts without duplicating group decisions, and include ballot decisions in meeting summaries.
- v5
Read Gwinnett’s voting charts correctly, preserving every recorded decision and each member’s explicitly recorded vote.
- v4
Expands 2026 meeting records to Georgia’s ten largest counties, with approved minutes, drafts, summaries and missing-minute status clearly distinguished. Corrects the Fulton narrative agreement that was previously counted as a motion.
- v3
Corrected recognition of explicitly recorded abstentions so valid named votes no longer stop collection.
- v2
Corrected reading of complex PDF layouts so meeting motions can be collected without scrambling their source evidence.
- v1
Added Fulton County elections board meeting tracking for 2026 to date, with recorded motions, tallies, explicitly named votes, official evidence and pending-minutes flags.

Quality checks
- v21Inconclusive
Full-table structural checks passed. Readable source samples agreed with the data, but material source-coverage and document-verification checks remain incomplete.
- v19Issues found
Full-table structural checks passed, but one inspected document’s approval status is misclassified. Source completeness remains only partially verified.
- v3Issues found
Found one unsupported motion record: a narrative agreement on June 22 was classified as a passed motion. Meeting coverage and sampled named votes otherwise matched official sources.
Limitations
The supplied table summary does not verify county coverage, date coverage, or counts by record type. Member-by-member votes should be treated as available only where named in the source; do not infer individual votes from a collective tally or attendance. Source records may have different publication or approval statuses; check minutes_status and the linked source. Video links are available only where included in the records.
