About this dataset
This directory is designed to help users discover literary agents and agencies worldwide, with the option to include fiction publishers. Records may include professional details and public email addresses when supported by sources. Working languages are recorded only when explicitly supported by source evidence; the language market used for discovery is identified separately.
What you can use it for
Use the directory to discover literary agents, agencies, and—when included—fiction publishers; review source-backed professional details; and identify publicly sourced contact information or submission guidelines where available.
Coverage
The directory is intended to cover ten configurable language markets worldwide. Fiction publishers may optionally be included. The evidence does not specify which markets are configured or the actual geographic, entity, or record coverage.
Sources
Records are intended to include source-backed professional details. Source URLs and supporting evidence may be provided at the record level. No specific source websites are identified in the available evidence.

Data pipeline
How Jsonify collects this data
Jason, Jsonify's AI data engineer, built this pipeline from a plain-language brief. It runs the same steps every time: read the sources, extract the fields, check every row, publish the dataset. When a source changes and a step fails, Jason diagnoses the failure, repairs the pipeline and verifies a sample before it resumes, so the dataset keeps its shape without anyone babysitting it.

History
Versions, repairs and quality checks
Every activated version of the pipeline, the recorded outcome of each repair, and the latest quality checks on published data.
Version history
- v1
Build worldwide literary-agent discovery across ten language markets, with optional verified fiction publishers and public emails.
- v2
Deduplicate multilingual agency identities and save explicit fiction-publishing evidence and source links. Refresh publisher evidence without dropping other saved contacts.
- v3
Merge punctuation and agency-name variants only when their source websites match. Allow saved-contact reconciliation without refetching or changing observation dates.
- v4
Merge duplicate entities that differ only by a missing email while retaining distinct public contacts. Prefer configured official entity pages over conflicting directory quotations and refresh Anagrama's evidence.
- v5
Recognize Dar Al Adab's English and Arabic names as one publisher, retaining its public email and removing the duplicate.
- v6
Require organization names outside email addresses when checking ownership evidence. Repair the saved Eram and Rajmangal quotations while preserving their public email addresses.
Repairs
When a source changes and a step fails, Jason's repair and its outcome are recorded here.
Latest quality checks
- v6Issues found
Structural checks passed, but multiple public-email quotations still omit the named owner required by the accepted contract.
- v5Issues found
Full-table checks found generally coherent coverage, but two email records fail the contract’s explicit ownership-evidence requirement. Live checks also suggest missed public contacts.
- v4Issues found
Full-table checks passed basic structure and evidence completeness, but source verification confirmed an unresolved duplicate publisher contrary to the deduplication contract.

- User
uh i mean. build pipelines for the things described in those posts. not scrape those posts
JasonGot it—the streaming-price comparison and literary-agent discovery pipelines, not Reddit scrapers. I’m reading the posts to capture their requirements, then I’ll build the two tools.
JasonThe first needs prices for 11 services across 60–100 countries, with local currencies and plan matching. The second needs worldwide literary agents, optional fiction publishers, and public contact emails across ten languages. I’ll make the country and language selections editable and flag missing evidence rather than guess.
JasonThe available directory settings let me make a pipeline publicly listed or keep it private, but don’t offer an unlisted public link. Should I keep both private and send their workspace links, or publish both to the directory?
- Keep both private
- Publish both to directory
JasonThe streaming checks now return standalone Netflix, Disney+, HBO Max, Apple TV and Hulu plans without confusing them with bundles. I’m still checking the remaining services and non-US currencies; the full country panel isn’t verified yet.
- User
The available directory settings let me make a pipeline publicly listed or keep it private, but don’t offer an unlisted public link. Should I keep both private and send their workspace links, or publish both to the directory?
Publish both to directory
JasonUnderstood—I’ll publish both to the directory once they’re ready. I won’t include the build conversation.
JasonThe price checks now cover USD, GBP, INR, EUR and SEK, and distinguish introductory offers from normal renewal prices. Amazon’s membership price is also clearly labelled as including Prime Video—not a video-only subscription. Some market attributions remain unconfirmed and will be flagged.
- User
why not 60 country panel?
- User
what's the problem?
JasonTwo problems—and I should’ve explained them clearly:
- Data quality: the streaming collection mislabelled a US Apple price as UK pricing. The fix is tested, but the saved dataset still needs updating. Many other country/service checks remain unresolved.
- A Jsonify continuation issue: I couldn’t finish the existing literary-agent draft or apply the saved-data correction after the work resumed. I reported that issue.
Your request is clear; I don’t need more requirements or credentials from you. Sorry for repeatedly saying “blocked” without explaining why.
JasonI can now continue the literary-agent build. I’m resuming the saved work rather than starting over.
JasonUnderstood. I’ll finish the repairs, verify both pipelines and their saved results, publish both to the directory, and send you the links when they’re ready.
JasonThe literary-agent pipeline is collecting its first saved results, and the streaming corrections are being saved without recollecting the full panel. I’m also setting the streaming refresh to weekly, as described in the post—roughly 4,400 saved rows per month at the current result size.
Limitations
The available evidence does not define several field meanings, identify specific sources, or specify configured language markets or actual record coverage. A discovery language is not proof of an entity’s working languages. Email addresses are intended to be public and source-backed; guessed addresses and outreach are not part of the described approach. No freshness, completeness, or validation claims are provided.
